Getting to know Fred Kutnick

Trained under the tutelage of doctors Milton Brown and Jason Weingarten, I received extensive training at the DBT Center of San Diego in both DBT and exposure-based therapies. I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work. Before that, I was a meditation and mindfulness guide, having done my training with The Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science. While I bring the expertise in treatment, you bring the expertise of knowing yourself. My treatment incorporates holistic and depth-based practices, in addition to pragmatic, behavior-based interventions. I work within a framework that emphasizes both change and acceptance-not just change. Above all else, I strive to create an environment where you feel safe in your vulnerability and empowered in your pursuits.
