I am a seasoned medical psychologist with an extensive career in working with patients with chronic health disorders further compounded by depression, anxiety and even trauma. Such individuals are also being followed by their medical providers as they learn to live more meaningfully with their health condition. I have been working as a medical psychologist, which is a clinical psychologist also trained in psychopharmacology for 30 years. Since the pandemic, I am working from my home office virtually and do not have to go to the hospital. The virtual world opens many options for people who may have transportation or ambulation difficulties. I have never thought of myself as very skilled with a computer, but having practiced now for several years virtually, I am convinced it works well, and I am surprised that even I figured out how to do it. I am a licensed psychologist in Illinois, Ohio, North Dakota and Michigan, but also have a Psypact credential that allows me to serve nearly all the states.
