Hi there! I'm Gabby, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addictions Counselor with over six years of experience in community mental health. I graduated with a master's degree in social work from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis in 2017. Before that, I earned my bachelor's degree in neuroscience and psychology from Indiana University. My passion lies in helping both adults and adolescents navigate co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. I use a trauma-informed lens and have advanced training in EMDR therapy, along with techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and self-compassion. My approach to therapy is non-judgmental, welcoming, and warm. I believe in creating a safe space where you can feel heard and supported as we work through your challenges together. I'm deeply inspired by the resilience and capacity for growth I see in my clients. In addition to my clinical work, I also serve as a clinical supervisor, where I enjoy teaching and mentoring new therapists. When I'm not in the office, you can find me rock climbing, snowboarding, cooking, or playing ball with my Golden Retriever, Mia.
