Who better to stand with you in times of confusion, despair, instability, anxiety, than someone who has been there and made it through? After my struggle with depression led me to being hospitalized, I spent years honing the skills, compassion, and understanding that were necessary to recover. Now, as an Associate Psychotherapist, I offer a therapeutic approach that combines hard-earned clinical competence, empathy, and patience– each borne of lived experience. With a passion for psychological research and education, my clients can rest assured that the skills and knowledge I bring to each session are evidence-based and constantly up-to-date. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, a space where we can work together to slow down and understand some of the cognitive patterns, motivations, and behaviors that sometimes feel beyond our ability to control. Though I tend to employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy as general frameworks for my therapeutic approach, together, we will find what works for you, personally. Moving forward is possible, and therapy is the first step. I am here to take it with you. I received my Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology from East Stroudsburg University, I also completed my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Manhattan University. In both programs, I participated in and ran multiple psychological research studies as both a graduate and undergraduate assistant.
