My expertise includes co-occurring disorders and Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use. I have experience working with clients dealing with addiction, anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, depression, grief/loss, impulse control, mindfulness, self-esteem, stress, and trauma/PTSD. I have a diverse background, having worked as a construction superintendent for 20 years. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and humanistic, with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as one of the main techniques. I also believe in using an eclectic approach that complements each individual client. My experience working with doctors, psychiatrists, mental health providers, and treatment teams has provided me with valuable tools and a broad spectrum of treatment techniques. I have a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling.
