*After booking, you will receive a link via IntakeQ so you can complete required intake forms prior to your appointment* I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a Master of Social Work from the State University of New York at Binghamton. I began my career working in psychiatric rehabilitation, serving individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. That experience shaped how I practice today, collaborative, grounded in systems thinking, and deeply aware of the relationship between mental health and everyday life, from housing and employment to family and social connection. Since 2021, I’ve provided therapy to children, teens, and adults across rural, suburban, and urban settings. My generalist training in social work allows me to understand how family dynamics, work environments, and community systems impact mental well-being. I work with patients navigating anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, PTSD and other trauma-related conditions, stress, ADHD, and identity as neurodivergent. I also support those living with personality disorders and psychotic disorders. In addition to training in dialectical behavior therapy (CBT), I have completed Level 1 training in internal family systems (IFS), an attachment-focused therapy that helps clients explore internal conflicts, deepen self-compassion, and improve relationships. My style is compassionate, curious, and rooted in the belief that every person has wisdom to bring into the room. Healing happens when we honor that and work together from a place of mutual respect. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to podcasts, relaxing or energizing with music, talking to friends and family, gardening in the warmer months, oil pastels and stretching.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I know how difficult it can be to find a therapist who feels like a good fit, someone you feel comfortable talking to and, over time, someone you can trust. That’s why I prioritize creating a space where you feel respected, not rushed. You don’t need to show up with everything figured out. Together, we’ll meet whatever shows up, without judgment. My approach is relational and collaborative. I don’t view myself as the expert on your life; you are. I bring psychoeducation when it’s helpful, but I also listen closely to the knowledge and strengths you already carry. My goal is to help you reconnect to what matters to you and build the skills to move through life with more clarity and intention. If you’re carrying stress that never seems to lift, managing anxiety that makes your thoughts spin, or navigating the weight of depression or trauma, I offer support that meets you where you are. I work with people who’ve lived through long-term emotional pain or chaos, including those navigating complex trauma or feeling misunderstood due to personality disorders. I also support people with ADHD and neurodivergence who are tired of being told to “try harder” when they’ve already been trying their best. However you arrive, I’ll meet you there with honesty, warmth, and care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our work together, sessions are shaped by your needs, goals, and pace. We might practice grounding techniques to help your nervous system regulate in the moment. We might explore old patterns that no longer serve you and where they came from. Sometimes that means revisiting trauma with care. Other times, it means mapping out values and finding small, actionable ways to bring those values back into your daily life. I integrate modalities based on what’s appropriate for you. For example: IFS (internal family systems) helps you explore parts of yourself that feel stuck, critical, or conflicted—and build a more compassionate internal relationship. DBT provides practical skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. For stress, I focus on creating relief without pressure, slowing down and noticing how stress lives in your body, so we can make space to breathe again. For mood and anxiety disorders, I provide structure and stability while affirming that there’s nothing wrong with needing help. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you; it’s about understanding your experiences, recognizing your strengths, and giving you tools to navigate what life throws your way. I hope that this space allows you to feel more connected to yourself, your relationships, and what matters most to you.
