Different experiences in your life require different levels of support. Work stress, changes in relationships, anxiety about the future, and unresolved past experiences can bring up a lot of thoughts and feelings that can be hard to deal with alone. Developing new tools, strategies, and perspectives is something you and I can work together toward a healthier version of you. I completed my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009, CA licensure in 2014, and Colorado licensure in 2017. I've gained valuable experience working with clients across numerous agencies and 7 years of private practice to assist couples, individuals, and families like you to address anxiety, depression, trauma, work stress, couples therapy, divorce/breakups, and grief/loss. My counseling style has been described as warm, curious, and insight-provoking. I believe that respecting you means showing a lot of compassion along with a healthy respect for your ability to heal through your autonomy and self-determination. Sometimes this means challenging long-held thoughts and feelings about yourself or others. These challenges are done in a gentle and sensitive way that recognizes change is hard and can also be rewarding. It takes vulnerability and courage to seek help, and I look forward to honoring that vulnerability and courage in our sessions together. Direct scheduling is available in Sondermind on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I do have availability on Monday-Thursday during 8am-5pm as well
