Hello, I'm Gretchen. I work with people who want to get back in touch with what is most important to them to feel more connected to themselves and others. Whether you are struggling with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, or other mental and emotional stress, we will work together to find the tools that best support your overall well-being. I believe that there is an inherent good in each of us, and with the right approaches and techniques, this core can be cultivated no matter how challenging or painful life may sometimes be. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addictions Counselor with over 15 years of experience providing support to individuals and groups. I have experience working with addiction to drugs and alcohol, trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, and loss. I pull from a variety of approaches including DBT, CBT, relational, transpersonal, and somatic experiencing. I strive to create a safe space where you can explore the challenges you are facing. It is important for you to find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable. I specialize in areas such as addiction, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, military/veteran support, PTSD, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer or require remote sessions. I understand that reaching out for help can be a big step, and I am here to support you on your journey. Together, we will work towards finding a path that leads to a more fulfilling and connected life. If you feel that we might be a good fit, I encourage you to reach out and take that first step towards healing and growth.
