Hello, I'm Gwen. "The quality of your life ultimately depends on the quality of your relationships." - Esther Perel. People come to therapy for many reasons, often during significant life transitions. Whether your relationships are suffering, you're struggling with life changes, or having trouble overcoming past experiences, my job is to create a safe, welcoming environment where we can work on your goals together. I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience. I earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2007. Throughout my career, I've worked with individuals, families, and couples to help them improve their relationships. My focus is on helping you reconnect and communicate better, set healthy boundaries, explore your inner needs, and manage conflicts effectively. I also have specialized training and a keen interest in trauma, including relationship trauma. I work with adults of all ages, utilizing a blend of cognitive-behavioral approaches to help change the way we perceive ourselves and others. Additionally, I have training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps couples break free from unhealthy relationship patterns. My trauma training has equipped me with tools to help release trauma trapped in the mind and body. Together, we will implement safe interactions to heal your relationships, discover your truths, set boundaries, and find your passions. If you're ready to take the next step towards improving your life and relationships, I'm here to support you. Let's work together to create the change you seek.
