Heather Brasseur, LMHC

Psychotherapist
NJ
I specialize in treating OCD, anxiety disorders, and compulsive behaviors using evidence-based methods proven to work: Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT). I'm not a general talk therapist-I focus specifically on adults struggling with OCD, panic disorder, social anxiety, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety, health anxiety, skin picking, hair pulling, hoarding, and depression that hasn't responded to traditional therapy. If "just stop worrying" actually worked, you wouldn't be here. You need targeted, specialized treatment for the specific patterns that feel impossible to control-intrusive thoughts, panic attacks, checking rituals, avoidance, or compulsive behaviors. My approach is warm and straightforward. I genuinely care about helping you succeed, and I'll give you practical tools and honest guidance about what the process involves and how we'll create real change in your daily life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
