Getting to know Heather Comensky

Hi! I'm Heather. Deciding to go to therapy is truly a brave and courageous step. I strive to honor that by making you feel seen, heard, supported, and valued throughout our time together. Therapy is about you and your goals. I will meet you where you are and walk with you through your struggles. My aim is to provide a safe, judgment-free, growth focused space where trust and hope can develop. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have 8 years of experience conducting individual, couples, and group therapy in a variety of settings with individuals of all ages. My current focus is on supporting adult individuals (18+) and couples through life transitions, anxiety, depression, gender and sexuality concerns, ADHD, stress, grief, and navigating complex relationships. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Person-Centered Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Couples Therapy among others, to tailor our sessions to your individual needs and to help you develop the skills and tools necessary to meet your goals and become your best self. Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about creating a balanced and fulfilling life, and I bring this perspective into my work with clients.
