Hello, I'm Heather. I offer a nurturing and supportive space for people to explore a variety of issues, including addiction, anxiety, depression, shame, grief/loss, and life transitions. My approach is integrative and life-affirming, and I utilize a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Hypnotherapy, and Depth interventions. I know from personal experience that taking the first step to start therapy can feel scary and overwhelming. Please know that I will treat you compassionately as you examine the areas in your life that are concerning to you. I create a safe place so you can discover and speak your own truth. I will never tell you what you 'should' do, and I will never judge you. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic alliance and feel this relationship is sacred and healing in itself.
