Beginning the healing process can be stressful and overwhelming. I am hoping to assist you with expanding your strengths, identifying persistent patterns of behaviors and thoughts, understanding what you control, and acknowledging progress (not perfection). We can collaborate to help you be respectful, responsible, and authentic! I have an eclectic approach that includes validation, active listening, humor, attunement, symptom relief, and self-care. It is my goal to work alongside you to uncover defense mechanisms, acknowledge anxieties, promote self-awareness, and develop a healthy perspective of yourself! This may contribute to worthiness, acceptance, and a sense of hope. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with adolescents and adults of all ages in groups, individual therapy settings, and family therapy. I implement a systems approach drawing on your strengths as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I have specific interests in Trauma Resolution and how to address ongoing symptoms. I have a passion for the arts and the benefits of creative expression.
