1300 I St NW, Washington, DC
Are you struggling with trauma or mental health challenges for the first time, whether personally or with someone close to you? Do you want to better understand your patterns, feel more grounded, and develop more secure ways of relating to yourself and others? As a therapist, I work with young adults and adults navigating experiences such as anxiety, self-criticism, mood shifts and disorders, emotional regulation, grief, relational and identity issues, interpersonal stress, and a range of related concerns. Together, we strengthen boundaries, deepen connection, and develop greater self-compassion. I utilize a strengths-based approach to work toward growth that feels aligned with your values and sustainable over time. If you’re considering therapy, I would welcome the opportunity to work together, guiding you with a thoughtful and attuned style that balances reflection and practical guidance.

What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by navigating mental health challenges in my own life, and strengthened through years of hospital-based and community mental health care. Working closely with patients and families strengthened my respect for the complexity and vulnerability of this process and reinforced my commitment to grounded, compassionate support. In my practice now, I use these unique perspectives to bring a calm presence, humility, and deep respect for the courage it takes to pursue change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Meaningful change begins with understanding your patterns and building a stronger sense of empowerment in how you respond and move forward. That’s why my approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, focused on meeting you exactly where you are. I approach our work with openness and curiosity, adjusting to your current needs and pace in a warm and attentive space where you feel seen and supported.
