Getting to know Henry Baise

Hello, I'm Henry. Growing up on the East Coast, I learned to catch crabs and I had a small farm with sheep, chickens and peacocks. My wife and I delivered lambs, which taught me a lot about patience and care. Professionally, I became familiar with school IEPs and the challenges faced by overwhelmed parents This started my interest for helping families/individuals navigate difficult times. I had the privilege of studying with some of the pioneers in modern psychotherapy, including William Glasser, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, and Gary Landreth. Their teachings have profoundly influenced my approach to therapy. Over the years, I’ve set up rural counseling programs and had the honor of being sent overseas to military bases to support Veterans, an experience that deepened my understanding of the challenges facing military personnel and their families. In my practice, I specialize in a wide range of areas including DEPRESSION, child mental and behavioral health, anger release, family relationships, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors, military/Veteran support, PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, intimate and romantic relationships, OCD, dementia, grief, and bereavement. I've seen most everything. I’ve conducted numerous group sessions focused on anger control, boundary setting, and negotiating compromises. I have extensive experience with DEPRESSION, narcissism, abuse, and withdrawal. My group work also includes social skills, conflict resolution, and JOY SEEKING. You can expect a compassionate and understanding person where we will work together to navigate your challenges and find effective solutions.
