If you’re here, I’m guessing your inner critic has been working overtime—writing, editing, and re-publishing a burn book about you. She’s relentless, flipping through all the “proof” she thinks she has, keeping you stuck in a loop of doubt and second-guessing. Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that? I help overwhelmed adults just like you—people who have what it takes to get unstuck, but need a guide to help them find the way forward. Being stuck isn’t your fault. Many of today’s approaches to anxiety and self-worth only skim the surface, so the relief doesn’t last. That’s because your struggles were never superficial in the first place. Deep-seated problems require depth-oriented solutions. Together we’ll find what's stuck that's causing the yuck - because it's going to take more than the perfect skin care routine and overpriced supplements to get the relief you’re looking for. Ready-ish? That's enough. Let's talk.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Many of the adults I work with are navigating the lasting effects of growing up in a rigid or conservative religious environment. They’ve often learned that their needs, feelings, or identities weren’t valid. Even now, after updating their belief systems, those messages still echo — shaping how they see themselves, relate to others, and move through the world. Others come to me because life simply feels too loud and overwhelming. They’ve gotten so used to putting their own needs last that they’ve forgotten what it’s like to feel calm, confident, and at home in themselves.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In your first session (aka the intake) I'll ask a bunch of questions about your past (family, school/peer experiences, relationships, previous mental health treatment) so that I have a good "bird's eye view" of you as a person. This allows me to make a diagnosis (which is required, if you're using insurance) and get a general idea of where we're going. We'll also talk about the most important part: your goals for therapy. Whenever possible, I like to start out meeting weekly so that we can get to know each other and start gaining traction with your treatment. If this isn't possible for whatever reason, we can meet every other week. Each session we'll work together to unpack what's stuck that's causing yuck so that you can get on the road to seeing yourself more clearly and living a life that feels aligned and meaningful to you.
