What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and supportive. I aim to create a space where you feel truly understood and empowered to explore the challenges you’re facing. Together, we’ll work on identifying unhelpful patterns, developing practical skills, and shifting your perspective to align more closely with your values and goals. You can expect therapy with me to be active and engaging. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including CBT and ACT, and I also incorporate mindfulness and compassion-based techniques to help you build resilience and self-acceptance. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and flexible. I work best with clients who are ready to dig deep and apply what they’re learning to their daily lives. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, struggling with burnout, or seeking freedom from perfectionism, I’m here to help you take actionable steps toward the life you envision.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together begins with an initial consultation to explore your concerns, goals, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. From there, I’ll recommend a tailored approach to address your specific needs, whether that’s working on skill-building, exploring your thought patterns, or reconnecting with your values. Sessions with me are structured yet flexible. Each session will focus on your most pressing concerns while staying aligned with the overarching goals we’ve set. You can expect a mix of exploration, skill practice, and reflection to help you gain insights and build practical tools for making progress towards your goals. I emphasize the importance of consistency and progress over perfection. Between sessions, I may assign worksheets, mindfulness practices, or exercises (tailored to your specific learning style and goals) to help reinforce what we’ve discussed and to ensure that therapy extends into your daily life. Ultimately, my goal is to equip you with the tools and confidence to move forward independently, knowing you’re on a path that truly reflects who you are and what matters most to you.
