Each individual is unique in their life experiences and struggles. I have worked with people across the lifespan (children, adolescents, adults) and supported them with challenges and transitions along the way. Whether you are experiencing new or long-term difficulties, anxiety, depression, painful patterns, or challenges with relationships, I believe that psychotherapy can invite reflection and ultimately offer some relief.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Irena is a psychodynamically trained therapist who helps clients deal with life's challenges through exploration of their inner life, emotions, and relationships. Her relational approach is grounded in warmth and curiosity about how past experiences shape present life. Together you will work to develop insight, self-compassion, and a more authentic way of being with yourself and others.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I aim to offer a supportive space where you can bring your full self. I will meet you where you are at and through relationship and dialogue we will work together to understand and alleviate tensions, delving into the complexity of the human experience. My work is informed by relational, psychodynamic, developmental, and trauma-informed frameworks.
