She also gained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Trauma- Informed Practice. Isis worked as a therapist at the local Child Advocacy Center, McMahon Ryan, in Syracuse,NY where she worked with children, teens and their families following disclosures of sexual abuse. Additionally, Isis worked as an intern and then Staff Limited Permit holding therapist at Vera House, a non-profit that specializes in working with those impacted by sexual and relationship violence.
