Getting to know Jaime Sparber

My belief is that counseling is a journey we travel together. Our first step is to define where you want to go – discovering the reasons that you have chosen to meet with me at this point in your life. We will also identify your strengths, what's working well in your life, and the things that can be changed to get you to your destination. With a Master's in Behavioral Sciences from Eastern Washington University, my goal is to work myself out of a job as you develop the skills and tools that you can use in the present and the future to have the life that you desire.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide mental health counseling to adult and adolescent individuals, integrating a number of different therapeutic styles and modalities, depending on what fits the best with the client and situation. Some of the therapy models I use are psychodynamic, CBT+, CETA, Mindfulness, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. My approach to therapy is holistic, client centered, strength based, and trauma informed. I can provide co-occurring services for those suffering mental-illness and substance abuse.
