Hello, I'm James. With 22 years of experience in various human services roles, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. My journey began as a volunteer serving at-risk communities while I was obtaining my bachelor's degree in Sociology. This educational background allows me to take a broader view of you, your struggles, and the ways to overcome them. In 2015, I earned my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis in addiction counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado, I have the privilege of supervising approximately 50 other counselors. Currently, I am also pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling at Oregon State University, which further enriches my practice and understanding of mental health.
