Getting to know Jane Frumberg

Hi there! I'm Jane, an associate psychotherapist here at Every Body Therapy. I specialize in working with adults, parents, and adolescents who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, illness/disability, self-harm, and many other issues. Working with parents to help their children heal and improve family dynamics is a particular passion of mine. To support my clients, I utilize an integrative approach incorporating Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), all evidence-based treatment approaches for trauma. I aim to support my clients in learning skills that feel aligned with their goals while leaving shame and insecurity at the door. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Iona University and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am affiliated with the National Association of Social Workers. A session with me will feel connected, compassionate, and supportive. There is nothing that can't be said in our work together. I look forward to companioning you on this leg of your journey!
