Getting to know Janelle Staviski

**Please note - I am unable to prescribe medication** My life's purpose is to assist in healing and strengthening the hearts and minds of those who may be feeling lost, hurt, or unhappy with their behaviors through trauma-informed collaborative care. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan and have additional certification in trauma work. I also work with individuals struggling with anxiety, relationship and attachment issues, as well as perinatal and postpartum depression and anxiety.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I aim for sessions to be comfortable and compassionate. Sessions are only offered virtually, from the comfort of your sofa- bring your favorite blanket or cup of tea!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In session, we'll examine your Backstory (how you got here), your Biography (how your family connections shape your perspectives), and then discuss how trauma impacts our Biology and our Behaviors. Once we understand together how you got here, I can teach you specific skills to apply to your daily life.

I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Physicians Health Plan, Priority Health, HAP, and most managed Medicaid plans in Michigan, and can typically bill directly to your health insurance. Once claims are processed, I will notify you of any copays or fees due. I also accept cash payments for sessions.
