CO
You deserve a therapy space where you feel understood, supported, and allowed to move at your own pace. My approach centers on helping you (or your child) make sense of emotions, relationships, and life transitions in a safe, nurturing environment. I use attachment-based, trauma-informed, and developmentally grounded methods to support children, teens, and adults in building healthier patterns and reconnecting with their strengths. I specialize in working with young people and families, and as a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, I integrate creative and expressive strategies to help children communicate and process experiences in ways that feel natural and comfortable for them. For adults, my work incorporates CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-focused techniques to support emotional regulation, stress management, and long-term growth. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more hopeful, and more connected to yourself and the people who matter most to you. If you’re looking for a warm, thoughtful therapist who meets you exactly where you are, I’d be happy to support you. I currently offer sessions via telehealth.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a calm, grounded, and supportive space where you get to show up exactly as you are. My style is collaborative—I won’t push you faster than you’re ready to go, and I won’t sit back silently while you try to navigate everything alone. You bring your lived experience; I bring clinical expertise, curiosity, and tools to help you make sense of what you’re feeling and why. I take an attachment-based and trauma-informed approach, using practical strategies from CBT, DBT, and play therapy to support emotional regulation, stress reduction, and healthier relationship patterns. For children and teens, I incorporate developmentally appropriate, expressive, and play-based methods to help them communicate in ways that feel natural and safe. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I am warm, direct, and easy to talk to. You don’t need to have all the right words or know exactly where to start—I’ll help guide the process with care and flexibility. My goal is for you to feel understood, supported, and empowered as we work toward the changes that matter most to you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session with me is structured but flexible, depending on what you need that day. We usually begin by checking in—how you’ve been feeling, what has come up for you, and what you’d like support with. From there, we work together to explore patterns, emotions, and experiences at a pace that feels comfortable and safe. With adults and teens, our work may include talking through challenges, learning tools for emotional regulation, practicing grounding strategies, or looking at how past experiences shape current stress or relationships. I draw from attachment-based, trauma-informed, CBT, and DBT approaches to offer practical skills you can use outside of session. For children, sessions are often more playful and expressive. As a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, I use developmentally appropriate activities—such as creative play, art, or storytelling—to help kids communicate their feelings and experiences in ways that feel natural to them. No matter your age, each session is collaborative. I provide guidance and structure, but you set the pace and focus. My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped with tools that help you navigate your life with greater clarity and confidence.
