Hello, I'm Janet and I provide telehealth therapy to the Colorado community. I believe we hold the power and intuition to change our lives and live more joyfully. As Joseph Campbell said, “We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy.” Sometimes we just need some guidance to move forward. If you are struggling to feel better about yourself and life or heal from past experiences, you are not alone. I would like to offer my knowledge and empathic therapeutic style to empower and support you in your journey for more peace, understanding, and healing. I have worked in the mental health field for over a decade. Prior to private practice, I worked in community mental health with clients facing a spectrum of challenges and from diverse age groups and communities. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, trauma, and depression. I also have a passion for supporting those looking to overcome ambiguous grief and loss, relationship challenges, family conflicts, life transitions, and adverse childhood experiences. My practice is grounded in evidence-based modalities including Person-Centered, CBT, EMDR, IFS, Mindfulness, Polyvagal and Attachment Theory. It is especially important to me to provide culturally responsive care. I strive to appreciate each client’s identities, their personal and generational histories, and utilize this information to tailor my approach.
