Getting to know Janet Robles

Hello, I'm Jan. With over 39 years of experience in private practice, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including families, couples, individuals, children, and veterans. My journey has also included premarital and marriage counseling, domestic violence perpetrator treatment groups, survivors of sexual abuse, and coaching. Although I maintained a full-time practice until 2020, I now focus on providing telehealth sessions exclusively, allowing me to continue supporting clients from the comfort of their own spaces. On a personal note, I was married for 47 years before my husband's passing, and I have three wonderful grown daughters and a very precocious granddaughter. I cherish spending time with my family, traveling, reading, camping, cooking, and enjoying the sanctuary of my mountain home. I also love engaging in challenging discussions that stimulate the mind and foster growth. I believe that the therapeutic process is a collaborative journey, one that should be infused with warmth, challenge, encouragement, and hope. I find that the connections I build with my clients are mutually beneficial, often prompting me to reflect on my own beliefs and behaviors. I hold a firm belief that change is possible and that respect begets respect. My goal is to help clients discover their sense of worth, build their integrity, and cultivate a deep well of self-respect.
