What should a new client know about working with you?

As a trauma-focused therapist, I deeply believe that knowledge is power. Education on the body, and how it stores stress, is often revelatory for my clients. Together, we will focus on building a mind-body connection that allows you to speak to your body in a language it understands. Further, through a safe and supportive yet challenging therapeutic space, you will gain the tools to have more fulfilling relationships, overcome past trauma, and to live more authentically in the present.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The process is unique to each individual and I will always do my best to meet you where you are at. Understanding your needs, goals, and style of interacting is where we begin. Building safety and trust will allow us to slowly start peeling back the layers and creating the foundation for change. Our work together will help you build the resources and support that will allow you to feel more grounded in the present moment. We will explore tools to regulate emotions, break patterns, and work with the body to create real change that can help restore feelings of hope that may feel distant to you now. My hope for our time together is to bring light to how resilient you've always been - and that you don't have to go through this process alone. I am appreciative that you are here, and look forward to working together as a collaborative team.
