During our sessions together, I stay focused on you and hear what is causing you to feel overwhelmed and then introduce skills that you can take with you out of session to help you in your day-to-day living. I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to custom fit what will work best for you. I believe that feeling completely accepted in our time together will help you to feel safe to share what topics or issues you really need to discuss. I am client-centered and strengths-based in my practice in order to help empower you to be successful outside of our sessions. Not only will I treat you with compassion, I will help you learn how to be more compassionate to yourself as you gain a better understanding of yourself and learn how to navigate life from a new perspective.
