I earned my Bachelor's degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. I have been a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor since 2001 and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2005. My passion has been working with individuals to overcome addiction, and I also specialize in recovery from depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and military family challenges. I utilize an individualized approach, meeting each person where they are. I focus on a combination of positive psychology, strengths perspective, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and CBT techniques.
