After you book an appointment, a representative will call you to get your card information and confirm your appointment details.* Hello, I am originally from the South and attended LSU in Baton Rouge, University of Florida (received BA in History in 1983), and University of Central Florida (UCF), where I received both my BA in Psychology (1985) and my MS in Clinical Psychology (1987). I have a published Master's Thesis on the Amelioration of Nightmares using Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy. I was first licensed and worked in Florida as a LMHC from 1991 to 2002. I moved to WA in 2002 and was licensed as a LMHC 2002. I have worked in a variety of clinical roles in the last 33 years of being a LMHC (private practice, teaching college classes, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Community Mental Health Centers, Methadone Clinic, and even a hospital for Violent Sexual Predators. I use the following treatment interventions: Mindfulness, Client-Centered Therapy, Trauma Reduction Therapy, Couples Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, and Art Therapy
