What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to counseling is person-centered. My goal is to create a warm and trusting environment where you feel comfortable exploring what may be holding you back from fulfilling your full potential/wants. I also utilize elements of Reality Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and have a goal of being trained in EMDR. Thank you for choosing me to assist you in your journey! I looked forward to meeting you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Each client's initial appointment will be an intake appointment. During this appointment, I will ask questions about your mental health, medical, family, and social history. I will also ask questions to gain a better understanding of what is currently going on, and prompted you to seek therapy. After our initial appointment, we will set up ongoing sessions based on your needs and availability.
