Jessica Inglis, LCSW

Jessica Inglis, LCSW

Psychotherapist
NY
I bring warmth, curiosity, and over 20 years of experience helping people navigate difficult emotions, relationships, and life transitions. My work is grounded in an integrative, trauma-informed approach, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, attachment-based work, and mindfulness-informed practices to support both insight and practical change. One of my greatest strengths is looking beyond the immediate problem to understand the patterns underneath it-how past experiences, relationships, and ways of coping may be shaping what is happening today across different stages of life. I also have a strong background in school-based settings, which has deepened my understanding of developmental challenges, academic stress, peer dynamics, and family systems. I balance compassion with honesty, creating a space where people feel deeply understood while also gently challenged to see themselves and their choices in new ways. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth; therapy with me is not about having all the answers, but about helping you better understand yourself, trust your own voice, and create meaningful change that feels authentic to who you are.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
