What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy should not be about learning to better cope with oppression, and a person's mental health does not occur in a vaccuum. These values inform how I move through the world and how I offer support to my clients.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work to foster an open sense of trust and communication that creates a positive environment for exploration and experimentation with different therapeutic methods to discover what works best for you. I specialize in utilizing mindfulness techniques to help my clients connect to their own innate ability to heal and grow. Consideration of intersecting identities and social justice are paramount in my treatment planning and I welcome the opportunity to support clients who have challenges around these issues. I have experience with and enjoy working with diverse clients from many different backgrounds facing all kinds of challenges and believe in the client’s role as the expert in their life and experiences.
