I’ve been waiting for years to write this autobiography as freely as I am now. I was stuck for a long time around wanting to appeal to mass audiences and fear that I would turn people off for being too “woo woo” or spiritual. I’ve long known that I want to provide mental health services to those who are not yet “awake” to their divine potential. I also want to provide healing services for those who are! So I tailored and tweaked and spoke half my truth. Well! I’ve finally separated my therapy website from this intuitive counseling & healing website and it feels good. I trust that aligned clients will find me through the aligned pathways. And I’m giving myself permission to share more openly here about my experiences, how I see the universe, and how it all relates to my work. First of all, let me say, I know what it is to be fast asleep and completely disconnected from the magic of life. Even when I did touch the magic, my mind freaked out and I pathologized my experience. I thought there was something wrong with me when I felt divine bliss! My mind couldn’t explain it and it didn’t fit in with my everyday life. At this time, my inner world was often in shadow (depression, fear, overwhelm, self-doubt) or dissociating from those shadows. Highly sensitive and empathic since childhood, I was deeply pained by the pain of the world and carrying a great burden of unspent responsibility. I didn’t know how to help. I felt separate from myself and my purpose, let alone a higher power. Then, in my early thirties, I experienced an intense kundalini initiation. My whole perception of reality shifted because I was able to feel pure divine love in my body and remember myself as that love. I remembered the divine fabric that holds all of us, always. Finally, I could see beyond the veil of pain, beyond this clouded and often inverted matrix. With new perspective, I began to move towards my own healing.
