Discovering Your True North We chase milestones, build careers, tick off boxes – adulthood's checklist seems endless. Yet, somewhere between "achieve" and "fulfill," a whisper of hope lingers. The world promised champagne, but we're facing a labyrinth of responsibilities, wondering if there's more. This is where I come in, not as a solution manual, but as a fellow traveler on the winding path of self-discovery. With a Master's in Counseling from Palo Alto University, I bring both professional training and heartfelt empathy to our journey together. We'll explore the intricate landscape of your experiences, where challenges might have dimmed your inner spark and anxieties built hidden walls. Forget one-size-fits-all solutions. Our path is yours alone, uniquely crafted around your story. We'll untangle the knots of self-doubt, illuminate hidden strengths, and empower you to rewrite your narrative. In this safe space, you'll rediscover your personal compass, charting a course toward a life that resonates with your true self. Whether you speak English or Mandarin, I'll be your empathetic listener, your translator of emotions into understanding. We'll navigate the terrain of your thoughts and feelings with care, uncovering strengths you never knew you possessed. In this safe space, you'll rediscover your true north, charting a course toward a life that feels authentic and deeply fulfilling.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have knowledge in various areas such as couples counseling, addiction counseling, and multicultural counseling. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, families and couples. I employ a holistic approach to therapy, incorporating biological, social, spiritual, cultural, and psychological aspects. My practice is eclectic, primarily grounded in an existential-humanistic perspective. I enjoy working with emerging adults who are either in college, recently graduated from high school or college, helping them navigate through challenges such as career, relationships, childhood traumatic experiences, and more.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first appointment will be an intake and evaluation session, in which I will evaluate your needs based on what you share and all presenting symptoms. This will help me when creating a treatment plan appropriate for your specific concerns and needs. Sessions following the intake and evaluation, will be reoccurring based on both therapists and client's availability.
