Getting to know Jill Maynard
Hello! I work as a counselor and therapist. I received my master's degree in counseling and my post-master's degree in school counseling from Oakland University. I earned my bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in family/community services with an emphasis on children's services. I specialize in anxiety, depression, careers, relationship issues, and life transitions. I have many years of private practice mental health experience as well as extensive experience in a school setting as a school counselor. I work with children ages 8 and up, adolescents, and adults. Along with individual counseling, I also help couples and families. I am a very supportive and understanding counselor who puts my clients' needs first. I work closely with them to achieve the goals or outcomes that best fit their needs. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, attending concerts, and spending time with friends, family, my golden retriever, and six cats!
