Getting to know Jillian Breuninger

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and co-owner of Mindset Matters Counseling. I earned my master’s degree in counseling from Arcadia University in 2016, where I concentrated in Child and Family Therapy, which provides a strong systemic framework for my current work. I specialize in working with both adolescents and adults who are facing challenges such as anxiety and panic disorders, depression, adjustment difficulties, coping challenges, ADHD management, and navigating complex relationship conflicts.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic style is rooted in a strengths-based approach that draws from evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness/Meditation practices. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to achieve lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our work together, you can expect compassion, authenticity, and a collaborative effort to help you move forward. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. My goal is to help you unlock your greatest potential, develop healthy coping strategies, and find relief from life’s everyday stressors. With a warm, genuine, and down-to-earth approach, I will walk alongside you every step of the way.
