Psychotherapist
MO
Hello, I'm Jodi. Many of us are experiencing higher levels of anxiety, low mood, and loss of focus and purpose. Burnout does not simply take care of itself without attention and support. I teach clients practical tools to become more aware of what their mind and thoughts are doing to create more feelings of being 'stuck' as well as body-based tools that help integrate change. I have my Master’s degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology from Naropa University and have a long history of working with death, grief, and dementia care. I have also gained advanced training and experience in play therapy, somatic psychotherapy, parts work, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and specialize in working with highly-sensitive people and other areas of neurodiversity. A good portion of my skill is focused on helping clients reduce anxiety and panic, and to make major changes in their lives. My approach is steeped in loving-kindness and holding space for all parts of my clients to feel welcome in the therapy session. When all parts 'have a seat at the table,' curiosity and compassion arise and the resistance and stuck feelings begin to reveal their purpose. If you're ready to take the next step towards healing and self-discovery, I am here to support you on your journey. Let's work together to create the change you seek.
