What should a new client know about working with you?

I genuinely love other people. I consider it an honor to meet people where they are and walk toward their goals together. I love working with a variety of clients and issues in varying stages of life, all with a desire to heal and grow. I have seen how powerful it can be to take just one step toward healing. I am passionate about facing both the triumphs and the challenges side-by-side with my clients. I have a trauma-informed approach with a codependency and inner child lens. I have experience in intensive childhood trauma processing, family therapy, substance abuse and process addictions, CBT-focused trauma therapy, and have a heart for perinatal mental health. I know how scary it can be to meet a new therapist, do this thing called therapy, and step into vulnerability. The bravest things we do are also the most uncomfortable. My desire is to give you a safe place to be unapologetically yourself to face the hard things together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy is all about you and what you need! Therapy with me looks like talking about your goals, a trauma informed approach to all things, and validating your experience with psychoeducation on how our systems respond and survive in various situations. I'm on your team! Let's work together to tackle the things that are weighing you down and create opportunities to step toward your goals.
