Hello, I'm Jon, a curious and playful child and family EMDR therapist dedicated to helping individuals impacted by trauma or other toxic experiences. My approach with kids is playful and creative, incorporating games, crafts, and a sand tray to make therapy engaging and accessible. I've worked diligently to bring advanced therapeutic techniques to kids and teens in ways that resonate with them. For my adult clients, my therapy is active and guided by powerful methods, whether you're addressing trauma, parenting challenges, or relationship issues. I specialize in working with kids, teens, and families experiencing mental and behavioral health issues. The people I help often wrestle with anger, anxiety, panic, dissociation, and behaviors that seem younger than their age. Together, we will map out where you are, where you've been, and work our way to where you want to be. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a Certified Addiction Specialist. Additionally, I have advanced training in marriage and family therapy, play therapy, and EMDR. I am a certified EMDR therapist and an approved consultant. My practice is grounded in evidence-based methods such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Since beginning my career in mental health in 2005, I have specialized in working with kids and families since 2013.
