Getting to know Jorge Borda

Being a mental health therapist has been my only professional career, and I have been invested in it since the start. I have encountered a variety of clients while working in different settings (inpatient, outpatient, integrated care, residential, refugee work, and telemedicine). I have been trained in crisis management and different theoretical models that have helped organize the client's internal struggles/symptoms. I also feel that I am very comfortable with all types of individuals and populations, treating everyone with respect and dignity, and giving them a sense of safety when engaged in our working relationship. My goal is for clients to learn new positive actions, behaviors, and decision-making skills in order to help them experience interpersonal or professional growth in every environment they are in.
