Psychotherapist
26 Ct St, Ste 700, Brooklyn, NY
I approach therapy as a collaborative process grounded in authenticity, honesty, and deep trust. My style is thoughtful and direct, shaped by curiosity, candor, and a steady sense of empathy. I aim to create a space where you feel both supported and gently challenged as we make sense of the terrain you’re navigating. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples facing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship and family dynamics, life transitions, and difficulties with emotion regulation. I also support clients navigating self-harm, suicidality, and questions related to sexuality and gender identity. My practice is rooted in evidence-based and trauma-informed care, drawing from approaches including DBT, CBT, the Gottman Method, behavioral activation and mindfulness. I integrate relational and psychodynamic perspectives where helpful. I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ clients, as well as students and professionals in high-pressure academic and work environments. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years in management consulting and investing. That experience continues to inform my work with clients navigating ambition, burnout, and the complexities of sustaining a meaningful life within demanding environments. I earned a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, where I trained in DBT through the Behavioral Tech Institute. I also hold an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in French Studies from Dartmouth College. Outside of my work, I enjoy running, biking, traveling, visiting museums, and exploring New York City architecture.
