Initial steps of seeking therapy can be challenging. My focus is to provide a safe environment to alleviate such challenges. Viewing you as the expert in your own life, my role as a therapist is to engage in a collaborative approach to encourage you to explore your strengths, examine your weaknesses and utilize coping skills, with the intentionality to gain insight into cultivating your authentic self . My counseling experience has equipped me to engage in multiple lifespan development challenges, such as Anxiety, Depression, Substance use, Family and Interpersonal Challenges.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My academic and professional endeavors have allowed me to engage with individuals from varying cultures, background and ages . During each session, as we build our therapeutic bond , we will foster a continuous platform , guiding you in establishing and utilizing your goals as you mature to your authentic self.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Wholistically, we collaborate in every session to achieve such outcomes. Establishing an empathetic therapeutic rapport, by utilizing modalities such as Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy , Family Systems Therapy, Trauma Informed care , Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Based Therapy and Mindfulness Techniques , allows me to provide quality treatment with you, for the best treatment outcome .
