Jody is a true gem of a therapist... just that perfect amount of patient and nurturing while also very engaged and challenging in the right moments. She is very intelligent while also super down-to-earth and relatable. Totally unafraid to travel into the depths of your soul with you and stands strong right by your side throughout the journey. I can't speak highly enough.

Jody is warm, nurturing, and inviting. She has a certain presence in the room that always makes me feel safe and cared for. She is incredibly talented at what she does and is invested in her work and patients. Jody is also very insightful and has given me feedback that I have needed. I feel lucky that our paths have crossed.

Fantastic, fantastic therapist. I'm the type of person who needs actual tools given to me and actions I can take to help my depression/anxiety, not just someone who sits there and lets you vent, and that's actually what Jody does. She's also a very kind and personable person, and is easy to talk to. I truly enjoy her vast knowledge and approach to Cognitive Therapy, because the tools she gives me are exactly what I need to work on my depression. She has given assignments, suggested books and podcasts that are helpful for my situation, which is exactly what I was looking for in a therapist. If you're a hands-on person who likes to take action to manage your depression then this is the person for you. I'm going to be sad when I'm done seeing her.

I felt so comfortable with Jody right away. She was warm and I felt as though she had real compassion for my situation, as well as giving me the feeling that she was confident in our success together.

I worked with Jody for about 6 months when I was in need of some guidance. I found her through a friend's referral after having interviewed and being disappointed by several other therapists.
Jody was a breath of fresh air. Not only was she incredibly easy to talk to, she was full of wonderful advice that felt extremely constructive. I even shared her readings with several friends also going through difficult experiences.
I could not recommend her more and I look forward to seeing her again next time "life happens," as it tends to do.

Jody was my first experience with a therapist and was recommended to me by a friend who found her life-changing. I was nervous about communicating and navigating some crossroads with a stranger but she put me at ease right away. She is incredibly intelligent, warm, thoughtful, sympathetic, nonjudgmental, and articulate, and she has an amazing capacity to synthesize my experiences and thoughts to provide a lens and a light on my blind spots. She had excellent recommendations for outside reading that have been great additions to my self-improvement toolbox. I saw her regularly for a few months and came away feeling empowered and more capable of self-analysis and communication, and when I stopped in several months later for a final check-in before I moved out of state, she remembered all our work together and we were able to pick up where we left off. I've recommended her to several friends seeking a great therapist in New York City.

Jody is very professional and personable. She was easy to talk to and a very good listener. I loved her deep and insightful feedback. Most of all I could feel her warmth and care and genuine respect and non-judgement. I felt I could trust and confide in her with ease and I appreciated my time with her, it was productive and beneficial.

I'd been having issues with anxiety/panic I was feeling after going through a bad breakup, being laid off and accepting a challenging new job. I wasn't sure if therapy would really be for me - generally not a talk about my feelings kind of guy, not sure anyone could relate to pressure I feel to keep it together in my line of work. Jody put me at ease right away, was so engaged and caring, and quickly helped me gain a new perspective. Real, practical tools I could use right away, and that I'm using in my day-to-day. Great experience and I look forward to my sessions with this wise and sincere therapist. No longer a skeptic!

Jody has been a great therapist!
She always made me very comfortable and safe which makes it easy for me to confide. Her approach is warm and open. I am a non-native speaker and she is patient with me.
Throughout me journey with her I always felt that I could be honest with her and talk about my needs openly. She really helped me figure out what was blocking my growth and I now feel confident that all can only be better moving forward.
I owe it to me obviously but I owe it to her a lot! I would highly recommend Jody!

I can't sing Jody's praises loud enough - she is really phenomenal. She immediately puts you at ease, and works sensitively with you to identify your goals, and, most importantly, empowers YOU to meet them. Her style of therapy encourages independent growth, so that you won't find yourself stuck on her sofa years down the road with no progress to show for it. She is an excellent listener. After years of trying all sorts of different therapy types, I could not be happier to have finally found Jody. Thanks to her fantastic approach, i'm already seeing remarkable progress. I also found the atmosphere of the clinic that she works at to be very warm, welcoming, and professionally run.

Jody was warm and welcoming from the very start. She made me feel comfortable and created a very safe space for us. What I really find memorable about my experience with Jody is that she so effortlessly remembers every detail from our past sessions and that makes all the difference in feeling like we're in this process together, and that she really cares. Before I met Jody, I was very nervous to start this therapeutic journey but she changed my whole mindset on therapy and my life, for the better.

How great to find a therapist who is understanding and approachable but also provides real feedback and solutions. I have tried other therapists and none have helped as much as Jodi. She is highly recommended and I am grateful to have found her.
