“Juan was great! He easily picked up on the issues we discussed and was personable in the process. Some therapists can be robotic, but Juan is real. He also gave concrete tools and advice to get through a hard situation, which I appreciated. I like being able to do something instead of just talking and he helped give us that.”

“Very happy I found Juan - he has helped me greatly first during individual therapy where I needed some guidance managing life changes and secondly with my husband as we navigate our partnership. Juan uses discussion to try to understand the cause of an issue and then works us through tools to try to mitigate or improve behavior. We particularly like that our sessions are not just talking about issues but do include exercises that have helped us break down walls both within session and at home. He has a calm and constructive manner that isn't phased by displays of emotion but remains empathetic which has helped me trust him totally.”

Such a kind presence. I was immediately comfortable. Highly recommend!
The provider does not normally see children, younger than 13 even though it says he does on his profile. I went back-and-forth With his office and was told that he would see my son after all. They never got back in touch with me and when I reached out to them, they said they had spoken to.”Dad’. My husband never spoke to anyone from his office. All in all well, his office staff was courteous., but they were not helpful. I have no idea how Juan is as a therapist, but the process of trying to get an appointment for my son was not a pleasant one and a letdown.

We’ve been seeing Juan, generally every two weeks, for over 18 months, as time for us to connect and ensure we are spending time being present as a couple. We’ve found him to provide an incredibly useful forum for my husband and I to talk through everything we need (and many times things we didn’t know we needed), by being objective, taking the attention to address both perspectives and ensuring that each individual has the opportunity to review any concerns. We feel like we’ve grown together through regular actions and alignment through this experience and highly recommend Juan as a skilled individual to help through the good, the bad and everything in between.

I'm happy to highly recommend Juan after seeing him weekly for the majority of a year. His approach is thoughtful, non-judgmental, and supportive. He offers insightful feedback and also provided me with specific strategies for applying rational logic to analyze emotions which works well for me.
Juan is incredible. He gives the perfect amount of space to process on my own while also giving me rich topics to consider as I continue on my journey.
Juan is a wonderful therapist. He's warm, thoughtful and easy to talk to. I've been seeing him for a few years and every session has helped me better understand the roots of my anxiety while also learning how to positively co-exist with it. Juan listens with empathy while offering insights about my ideas and beliefs that help challenge old patterns and make new ones. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in therapy.
