Getting to know Julie Drew

I am licensed in New Jersey with 30 years of professional work experience and hold a Master's in Social Work from Widener University. I have experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, addiction, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, and career difficulties. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. I am here to support and empower you on that journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During our first session we will work together to define your goals for treatment and develop a strategy that will help you to achieve your goals. Where appropriate we will use worksheets to periodically assess your progress in treatment in addition to discussing progress toward your goals in each session. From the first session you will have some actions that you can implement throughout the week to help you move towards your treatment goals. As you progress in treatment we will expand your skills to other areas or situations that you identify as opportunities that will move you toward a happier life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Probably just a personality mismatch, but she didn't listen much to me, and she gave a lot of advice based on her assumptions, which wasn't helpful because she doesn't know what my issues are or what I've already tried.

Excellent! 100% going back to her!
I really can count on Julie for her positivity and authenticity. She sees even the smallest bit of good and everyone needs that. She’s a good listener. She is down to earth she is present and she has practical solutions. She’s not afraid to give her opinion. She’s probably one of the best therapist I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot. Thank you, Julie.
