What should a new client know about working with you?

I aim to support people live the best version of their lives in an authentic and unapologetic way. Many of us go through life feeling deeply wounded by our stories, our traumas and the way others view and perceive us. Together we will take a look at past experiences, unpack the internal dialogue and understand the limiting beliefs that get in the way of you living in your greatest potential; while learning to develop more compassion and love for what is. My approach is honest and straightforward and I aim to support you in gaining the necessary insight to support your growth. As a trained Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist I further support clients using this novel, breakthrough approach to awaken the mind and the healing of trauma and depression. I invite you to embark on this journey with me with an open mind and an open heart, and together we will create amazing things. I am truly honored to be part of your journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I also offer a therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP): the use of ketamine as a complement to psychotherapy. I deliver KAP in my practice in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical, which has a specialized medical team that determines eligibility for KAP, prescribes ketamine lozenges, & supports me in monitoring outcomes. If interested, e-mail me to discuss eligibility & next steps.

Julissa's sessions changed my life. Before regular visits, I was very much depressed and lost in life. I felt that my challenges would continue to get the best of me and there was no hope. After the first few sessions with Julissa, I instantly felt that there was indeed hope. She had a warm presence and gave me strong advice that helped me tackle each problem ranging from love relationships to career and family. I am proud to say after a years worth of sessions, everything is looking up for me in life. Thank you for everything Julissa!
