Life can feel like a constant battle, where every day is about surviving rather than experiencing. Teens often carry the weight of family dynamics and peer pressure. Young adults grapple with transitioning to independence. Adults can feel overloaded with years of anxiety, depression, and trauma. Throughout all of these stages, it's natural to want clarity, peace, and a stronger sense of self. Some come looking to tackle challenges with solutions, while others want to peer at their inner world in a safe space. No matter the reason, therapy is a place where you don't have to hold it all together and you're no longer alone. Therapy can be a scary thing to consider. I’m here to talk about it and find the security you may need to start. If you already know what works for you, tell me what you’re looking for and I would love to see how we can reach your goals together. I want to meet you where you are and focus therapy on genuine human connection.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is a client-centered, holistic approach that emphasizes personal growth, self-awareness, and the inherent potential of individuals to achieve fulfillment. I utilize CBT, DBT, Trauma Focused and Somatic therapies as my primary means to help relieve symptoms. I’m not here to fix you, because you are not broken. I’m here to guide you as you navigate challenges and to open awareness to your most authentic self.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The beginning of sessions is typically used to discuss challenges and successes of the week. Then I offer a space for you to direct the session to any topic that feels important to address. If you prefer that I lead, I can open conversation about the goals that we have chosen to work on together. I hope to create an environment that is flexible to the needs that you have for each session. At the end of session I like to ground ourselves in the present moment to set you up for success throughout the rest of your day.
