If you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck in a life transition, therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and find a way forward. I work with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, perfectionism, relationship challenges, and major life changes. I bring over a decade of experience in counseling and education, including years supporting students and families in school settings and community mental heath. My approach is warm, attuned, and collaborative. I want you to feel genuinely understood while also developing practical tools that help you feel more confident, regulated, and grounded in your life. I integrate somatic awareness, mindfulness, as well as DBT and CBT informed skills to help you understand patterns, manage difficult emotions, and create meaningful change. We’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable while staying focused on the changes you want to make. Whether you're dealing with anxiety that won't quiet down, feeling overwhelmed by the demands of work or family, struggling with perfectionism, or simply feeling stuck, I'd be glad to help.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to handling everything on your own. My goal is to create a space that feels warm, comfortable, and open, while helping you make meaningful progress. I’m a collaborative therapist, which means we’ll work together rather than me simply telling you what to do. I’ll help you understand the patterns behind what you’re experiencing while also giving you practical strategies you can use between sessions. My approach draws from somatic awareness, mindfulness, as well as CBT and DBT-informed skills. Most importantly, I want therapy to feel relevant to your actual life—not like a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. I believe therapy should honor your identity, values, and lived experience. Together, we move at a pace that feels steady while working toward greater clarity, regulation, and confidence.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In your first session, we’ll get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to understand your history, current challenges, and goals, and together we’ll start identifying patterns that may be contributing to stress or overwhelm. I’ll also introduce some practical strategies you can begin using right away. Most importantly, this session is a space to feel heard, understood, and supported as we start building a plan tailored to you.
