What should a new client know about working with you?

Before entering private practice, I supported individuals at a domestic violence shelter through one-on-one and group counseling. It was an incredibly meaningful experience to walk alongside women as they reclaimed their safety, autonomy, and sense of self. Being part of that journey — watching people break harmful cycles and take courageous steps toward healing — remains one of the most rewarding aspects of what I do.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I often return to a quote by Brené Brown: “When we deny the story, it defines us. When we own the story, we can write a brave new ending.” This captures what I hope to offer in therapy — a space where you can feel heard, valued, and empowered to take ownership of your journey. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and support you as you move forward with courage, clarity, and connection.
